ISLAMABAD: AlHuda International School organised its 5th Annual Day, themed “ A Journey of Hope” that is need of the hour, on Saturday 27th and 28th January 2018 at Pak-China Friendship Centre Islamabad with an extraordinary learning experience for everyone. The ultimate objective was to reflect with Tadabbur and Tafakkur upon Qura’n, where the word Hope is mentioned 40 times and to learn how to remain hopeful in this age of trials and turbulence faced by the Muslim Ummah around the globe from the examples of the life of our Prophet (SAW).
The event was based on the sole aim of seeking the pleasure of Allah swt and inculcating the purest form of love for Allah swt in the students; thus training them to be productive, wise, brave and peaceful Ummatis, using the 21st Century Communication and Da’awa skills, in the true and most authentic spirit of Islam.
The uniqueness of the event was that each child participated. The event consist of different sub-themes such as Believer the hopeful, Allah the Merciful, being responsible, never lose hope, amal e salih journey within, timeline of Islam, tazkiya-e-nafs, Islam in 21st century , Prophets beacon of hope. Student’s performances were an effort to leave the audience inspired and charged with Iman.
The event was graced by the dignitaries and educationists from the twin cities, print and electronic media persons and the kinsfolk of the students. The program was spread over two days and was split into two shows of morning and afternoon. The whole program was beautifully delivered in Urdu and English languages.
The Director of the school Mr. Atif Iqbal thanked all the distinguished guests and appreciated the efforts of the teachers and the students. He added that participating in co-curricular activities in a way builds one’s personality and will help the students become better Muslims and contributing citizens. The event will be continued till the next day.
