Nimra Qazi established “Timeline Designs” in 2011 as an architectural design practice in Islamabad that provides creative, functional and efficient spaces with the finest custom-tailored interior services for clients. The company focuses on architecture and interior design, building construction, master planning, 3D visualization, and urban design. As the principal architect of the firm, Nimra has big aspirations to forge relationships that can lead to international recognition and growth for her company. Today, Timeline Designs is a medium size firm that includes nine fulltime employees and “No Limit” category of registration (allowed PKR 100 million and above tender to apply) by the PCATP. (Pakistan Council for Architects and Town Planners). Nimra hopes to grow her company in the next five years to over 50. Motivated by a “passion to make a positive impact on society”, Nimra encourages new entrepreneurs to be trained and mentored by other successful women business owners.
Through participation in PWEP, Nimra found PWEP gave her insight on how to develop and structure her business. Through the program, she expanded her network and made contacts with important individuals. Nimra found that the program gave her a platform to speak about her business, experiences and challenges as a female entrepreneur in the market. She also learned relevant skills such as the business canvas tool and strategies to create models to improve her business structure. Nimra looks forward to unique and challenging design opportunities. She would like to win a government tender so she can help build a better country
