Karachi: Syed Faizan Hussain an entrepreneur and talented student from Pakistan, gets honored with the Queen’s Young Leaders Award. An annual award that acknowledges people for their leadership potential.
The 23-year-old got recognized for his work to support the use of technology in health related solutions awarded for creating a system for the deaf and dumb that can translate sign language to spoken language. Faizan was the only Pakistani to join the list of winners from across all Commonwealth countries
“Pakistan’s youth’s life goal is limited only to getting a job or a degree. Why are Albert Einstein, Newton, Galileo remembered? Because they did something for the society.”
Faizan’s parents are of the view, “We never put any pressure on our children. I said to them no matter what you study just make your country and your parents proud. Whatever he has achieved he has earned it all by himself, a 100%. We only provided him by getting a laptop, a computer but I have no knowledge of his field. I am very happy though that he has made a name for himself worldwide.”
Faizan dreams big and now plans to launch a tech consultancy and outsourcing company, Venture Dart for the betterment and development of the society in this field.
