MELAKA: Every human being has a right to life, dignity, freedom, nationality, and
region; these are just some of the rights included in the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights, the Guinness World Record holder for the most
translated document. Human Day marks the anniversary of the presentation
of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is an opportunity to
celebrate human rights and highlights issues surrounding it.

Human Rights Day is observed every year on the 10th of December it was
first announced to be celebrated every year by the United Nations General
Assembly in 1948. This year, Human Rights Day kicks off a year-long
campaign to mark the upcoming 70th anniversary of the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights, a milestone document that proclaimed the
inalienable rights which everyone is inherently entitled to as a human
being regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or
other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
It is the most translated document in the world, available in more than

It is very useful for every people to get every type of possible rights to
develop the people of the Nation in every kind of activity. It is very
easy to manage all the things in a Right manner when every people get a
proper right to do all the activities done accurately. There are many of
the social, cultural as well as developmental rights by which people are
curious to get all the rights for making the people to complete their
goals in a better way.

At World Assembly of Youth (WAY), we recognize the Universal Declaration
of Human Rights as the basis of our action and services. We are committed
to the promotion and protection of human rights. We ensure that young
people understand that whatever their place of residence, sex, national or
ethnic origin, color, religion, language, or any other status, we are all
equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination.

Let us continue in our efforts to create more awareness by allocating more
academic programs for human rights and let us encourage the participation
of more international non- governmental organizations on matters related
to human rights. In order for youth to contribute to the enjoyment of
human rights and the establishment of the world peace, all communities
must provide the necessary means for educating youth in both practical
skills and social values.

Happy Human Rights Day!
